I certify that my dog has been examined by a veterinarian and is in good health and is not exhibiting signs of illness. I affirm that my dog has not shown or engaged in any aggressive behavior towards any humans or other dogs/pets. I am responsible for any harm caused by or done to my dog due to any misrepresentation of my dog’s behavior or predisposed illness/allergies. Any known medical issues must be disclosed before training begins.
I understand that my active participation is imperative to the success of my dog’s training. I acknowledge I must train my dog consistently to improve or maintain the level of training achieved by this program. I agree to follow my trainers advice regarding homework exercises and use of management tools. I am aware that in most cases goals should be achievable, but individual results may vary and are not guaranteed.
Failure to comply with my trainer’s requirements and/or use of aversive training equipment (e-collars, prong collars, physical or verbal corrections) will result in termination of training without a refund.
Virtuous Paws is committed to ensuring the safest environment possible for people and their dogs while training. However, I understand that dog training is physical in nature for both people and canine participants, which can result in injury to persons or dogs. While all precautions will be taken against such incidents, I agree that Virtuous Paws Dog Training cannot be held liable for any injuries arising from training.
Payment for services is due in full before scheduling any training session or packages.
If I register for a package, I must use those sessions within a given amount of time.
Maximum 3 months to complete a 6 session package.
Maximum 4 months to complete an 8 session package.
Maximum 6 months to complete a 12 session package.
Any unused hours are donated to training at a local dog shelter or rescue in need.*
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will result in forfeiture of that week’s session. In the event of an unforeseen circumstance and 24 hours notice cannot be given, one free cancellation is granted for each package purchased.
Excessive or repeated cancellations/reschedules may lead to your reserved time being forfeited. If you must cancel your training due to forfeiture of your reserved time there are no refunds for your purchased training package.
In the unforeseen circumstance your dog requires emergency or non-emergency care during training, Virtuous Paws will make reasonable attempts to contact you and request that you obtain veterinary care for your dog. If we cannot reach you, Virtuous Paws reserves the right to take the dog to a veterinarian of our choice. All veterinary care fees are the responsibility of the client.
I consent to the use of any video or photographs captured during my dog’s training sessions for educational, promotional and any other purpose deemed appropriate by Virtuous Paws.
